Division I High School Projects
Students 18 and younger
In Division I, high school, career or technical school students submit written reports describing welding projects they have completed. The project may be a structure,
a repair, or an item made for home, farm, shop or recreational use.
Division I Eligibility
Any student 18 or younger who is enrolled in any type of school or training program. Projects may be submitted by individuals or by teams of no more than five students with the approval of their instructor.
Division I entries are first judged by Region; Regional Award winners then become eligible for National Awards.
Projects may be submitted by individuals or by teams of no more than five students with the approval of their instructor. Division II entries compete for National Awards.
Tips
- The focus is on creating excellent projects
- Write a clear, step-by-step description of how you completed your project; include blueprints and drawings; spell-check the text
- Submit your report, drawings and photos (preferably as a pdf) to JFLF below
